Keep a section private with the PIN

  1. Open the section.
  2. Turn on Needs the facility PIN. If the facility doesn't have an access PIN yet, UGuide asks you to set one there and then. Only the facility's owners can set it.
  3. Choose Save.

Sections that need the PIN show a lock in the guide's outline. Their sub-sections need the PIN too.

What visitors see

Visitors see the section's title with a lock, and a box to enter the PIN. Once they enter it, every locked section in the guide opens until they close the tab.

Make the whole guide private

Choose Edit details on the guide and set Who can read this guide? to Only with the facility PIN.

Section titles are always visible, so don't put the code in the title. "Alarm" is fine; "Alarm 4321" is not.
