Sharing the PIN with hirers

Sharing it

  • Include the PIN with booking confirmations or key handovers, rather than on a sign in the building.
  • Everyone who manages the facility can copy it from the Access PIN tab.

Changing it

Change the PIN when a regular hirer finishes, at the start of each season, or if you think it's been shared too widely. The old PIN stops working immediately, and nothing needs reprinting.

Wrong guesses

To stop guessing, after 10 wrong PINs in 15 minutes the facility's locked sections can't be opened for a while. Visitors are asked to wait 15 minutes and try again.
