Hand over when your committee changes

Guides belong to your entity, not to a person, so handing over is quick.

  1. Invite the new people to the entity. Everyone joins as a member. See Invite someone.
  2. Hand the entity over: on the entity's People tab choose Hand over and pick the new owner. An entity has one owner, so you leave the entity and its facilities, or tick Stay on as a member to keep working on its facilities as an editor. Staying needs room for one more person on every facility: on Free, where only 1 person can work on a facility, you leave.
  3. Transfer facility ownership if needed: on the facility's People tab, choose Transfer ownership and pick someone already on the facility. You become an editor.
  4. Change the access PIN if outgoing members knew it.
  5. Update contact details in the guide, such as who to call in an emergency.
  6. Update billing: the new owner can change the card and billing email on the entity's Billing tab.
  7. Remove people who have moved on. See Remove someone, or leave.

Nothing needs reprinting: the QR codes on the wall keep working throughout.
