Add a video

Upload a video

1. Open the section.
2. Under the instructions, in Photos, videos and documents, choose Video and pick the clip.
3. Wait while UGuide checks and shrinks it. Keep the page open until it's done.

Videos can be up to 60 seconds long. UGuide shrinks them in your browser to a phone-friendly size before uploading. If your browser can't shrink video (some older phones), you can still upload a file that's already under 20 MB.

Link to YouTube or Vimeo

Choose YouTube/Vimeo and paste the video's address, for example https://youtu.be/… or https://vimeo.com/…. Use this for longer videos, such as a manufacturer's how-to.

Uploaded videos can also go right in the section's instructions, where they're needed: see Write a section's instructions. They count toward the uploaded videos per section below.

How many videos?

Basic includes 1 uploaded video and 1 video link per section; Pro and Enterprise include 3 of each. A facility on Free is text only.
