Delete or restore a guide
Facility owners can delete a guide they no longer need. It isn't gone straight away: it waits in Deleted for 30 days, in case you change your mind.
Delete a guide
- Open the facility. You'll be on the User guides tab.
- Choose the bin button next to the guide (or Delete guide at the bottom of the guide itself).
- Choose Delete guide to confirm.
The guide moves to Deleted. Straight away, its printed QR codes show "Guide no longer available", and it no longer counts towards the number of guides your plan allows.
Restore a guide
- On the User guides tab, choose Deleted.
- Choose Restore next to the guide.
It comes back exactly as it was: its sections, photos, videos and documents, published or draft, and the same QR codes, so printed copies work again. If the facility already has as many guides as its plan allows, delete or upgrade first. If parts of the guide need the access PIN and the facility no longer has one, set a PIN first.
After 30 days
A guide is permanently deleted 30 days after it was deleted, with everything in it. Each guide in Deleted shows the date. To delete one sooner, choose the bin button next to it in Deleted. That can't be undone.
Only facility owners can delete and restore guides. Members and editors can see what's in Deleted.
