Move a guide to another facility

Made a guide in the wrong facility? Move it to the right one. It's the same guide, so everything goes with it.

1. Open the facility the guide is in. You'll be on the User guides tab.
2. Choose the Move or copy button next to the guide. (Or open the guide and choose Move or copy at the bottom of the page.)
3. Choose Move.
4. Choose the facility to move it to.
5. Choose Move guide.

The guide opens in its new facility.

What moves with it

• Every section, photo, video and document, exactly as they are.
• Its QR codes. They don't change, so codes you've already printed keep working.
• Whether it's published, its reporting, and any problems visitors reported about it.

The guide shows the new facility's contact, logo and colours, and anything that needs the access PIN uses the new facility's PIN.

Good to know

• Only owners of the guide's facility can move it, to another facility in the same entity that they also work on.
• For a facility in another entity, copy the guide there, then delete the original if you don't need it.
• If a facility says "Won't fit", choose it to see why. Its licence may not allow another guide, or as many sections or photos, or it may need an access PIN first.
• If the new facility has no licence, visitors can't open its guides, so a published guide's QR codes won't open it until the facility has one. The dialog warns you first.
