Add a facility

Only an entity's owner can add facilities to it.

1. Open your entity from My entities.
2. On the Facilities tab, choose Add facility.
3. Enter the Facility name, for example Bendigo North Recreation Reserve Pavilion.
4. If the facility isn't in Australia, choose its Country. UGuide uses it for the emergency number visitors see, such as 111 in New Zealand, and UGuide AI uses that number when it writes guides.
5. Start typing the Street address and choose the right one from the suggestions. The rest of the address fills in for you.
6. Add a photo of the building if you like. It appears at the top of the facility page and on the guide visitors see.
7. Check the Contact for visitors. It starts with your name and email address; change it, or clear it to show no contact. See Show a contact and let visitors report problems.
8. Choose Create facility.

UGuide gives the facility a Facility ID, such as UG-AB12CD. You'll find it on the facility's Details tab.

How many facilities can I add?

As many as you need, up to 100 per entity (or more, with more licences). Each facility needs a licence of its own, except one that can run on Free, and you can give it one of your entity's spare licences when you add it. See Give facilities their licences.
