Give facilities their licences
A licence works for one facility. Once your entity has licences, give each facility the one it needs. Only the entity's owner can give out licences.
Give a facility a licence
- Open the entity and go to the Billing tab.
- Under Licences, find the facility and choose Basic, Pro or No licence.
You can also choose it on the facility's Details tab, or when you add a facility. It works straight away, and there's nothing to reprint.
Move a licence
Take the licence off one facility (choose No licence), then give it to another. UGuide AI uses go with the licence: moving it doesn't bring more uses that month.
A licence can't be taken off a facility, or swapped for one that allows fewer people, while more people work there than that would allow. Take people off first. See How many people can work on a facility.
Facilities without a licence
- One facility in each entity can run without a licence, on Free: 1 guide with up to 3 sections, text only. It's the oldest facility that doesn't have one.
- Other facilities without a licence can still be set up and written, but visitors can't open their guides. They're marked Hidden from visitors.
If there aren't enough licences
If a subscription ends, or has fewer licences than you've given out, the licences given out first keep working and the others stop. Nothing is deleted and nobody loses access, though a facility with more people than it now allows can't have anyone else added. They work again as soon as there are enough.
