Try a licence free for 14 days
Every entity can try one Basic or Pro licence free for 14 days. You don't need a card to start, and nothing is charged unless you add one.
Start a free trial
- Open the entity and go to the Billing tab.
- Choose yearly or monthly. That's what you'll pay if you keep the licence after the trial.
- Choose Start free trial under Basic or Pro.
The licence goes to your first facility straight away. You can move it to another facility under Licences on the Billing tab. Only the entity's owner can start a trial, and if you're creating a new entity, you can start it as part of creating it.
Everything in the licence works during the trial, except that UGuide AI has 5 uses a month until you add a card. Add one and you get all the licence's uses straight away. See How UGuide AI uses are counted.
Keep the licence after the trial
On the Billing tab, choose Add a card before the trial ends. The first payment is taken on the day the trial ends, then every month or year until you cancel. We email the entity's owner three days before the trial ends, as a reminder.
Need more licences during the trial? Add a card first: buying more ends the trial, and the subscription starts that day.
If you don't add a card
When the trial ends, the licence stops. Nothing is deleted. The facility goes back to Free if it's your only facility without a licence; otherwise its guides are hidden from visitors. Either way, each section's QR code opens the whole guide instead of its own section, its guides show UGuide's logo and colours instead of yours, and its Reporting tab is locked (visits are still counted). Anyone you added keeps access, but while more people work on it than Free allows (1), nobody else can be added. Buy a licence at any time to bring it all back.
Printing a QR code for every section during your trial? Those codes only open their own section while the facility has a Basic or Pro licence.
Cancel during the trial
Added a card and changed your mind? Choose Cancel the free trial on the Billing tab before the trial ends, and you won't be charged.
Who can have a free trial
- One free trial per entity, of one Basic or Pro licence: an entity that has tried Basic can't have a trial of Pro later.
- One free trial per person, whichever entity it was for.
- Entities that have had a subscription before don't get a trial.
You can also skip the trial and buy licences straight away. See Buy licences.
